About Me

Tero Laiho's handsome picture

My interests are many but my profession is UX Design. While Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality and Robotics will continue to drive change at the ever-increasing pace the humans are not changing. The human psychology will remain roughly the same whatever happens and the UX Designers will keep on making the services and products usable and delightful.

Who knows what are the next year's buzzwords but as long as we keep the human in the centre of our design work we will continue to succeed in making the world a better place.

Prototyping

I prefer making prototypes with Invision using either Sketch or Omingraffle for the design

Japanese Radicals Browser (Sketch & InVision)

Japanese kanjis were traditionally categorized by 214 radicals, plus their variants, which are common elements the kanjis share. For example when 女 meaning a woman is combined with a 子 which means a child we get a kanji 好 that means to like which makes sense as many women like children.

Articles

In my opinion the best use for blog writing and other social media is to learn. Learn about languages, learn about tech, learn about history and learn about whatever interests me. When I write about kanjis or robots or any other thing I am interested in I learn a lot about it. I learn to explain what the thing is really about and what it means.
